This policy explains how The Stroopwafel Workshop, a brand of The Fun Group, handles your personal data. The Fun Group is the data controller.
Booking details (name, email, phone, party size, date), payment confirmation (processed by our payment provider — we do not store card details), any dietary or accessibility notes you provide, and website usage data via cookies.
To take and manage your booking, communicate with you about it, meet legal and accounting obligations, and — where you have opted in — send you occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Performance of your booking contract, our legitimate interests in running and improving the service, legal obligations, and consent for marketing and non-essential cookies.
We share data only as needed with our booking platform (FareHarbor), payment provider, and analytics providers, and where required by law. We do not sell your data.
We keep booking records for as long as needed for the booking and for legal/tax requirements, then delete or anonymise them.
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent. Contact book@funamsterdam.com. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
